edan exists as a means for professional artists and craftspeople to act individually and collectively in developing their practice of the visual arts.
All artists are based in or around East Durham and one of the main aims of the group is to promote awareness of the visual arts in this area.
The group works in the North East and both nationally and internationally to organise exhibitions, workshops and school visits.

Mission Statement
  • To highlight academic and industrial perspectives on ground-breaking work in computer games research, games development and games education.
  • To focus attention on issues of special interest to women in the games industry  and through this seek to address the games industry’s gender imbalance to develop a fuller understanding of games and game playing.
