edan
edan exists as a means for professional artists and craftspeople to act individually and collectively in developing their practice of the visual arts.
All artists are based in or around East Durham and one of the main aims of the group is to promote awareness of the visual arts in this area.
The group works in the North East and both nationally and internationally to organise exhibitions, workshops and school visits.

UKRC
The UKRC is the UK Government's lead organisation for the provision of advice, services and policy consultation regarding the under-representation of women in science, engineering, technology and the built environment (SET).
